this is a stripey horse.

otherwise known as a zebra.  the black and white stripes of the zebra have beffuddled scientists since the beginning of, well, science.  some scientists say the stripes are to confuse the flying patterns of the tsetse fly, some say they are to camouflage the zebras- from the colourblind lion and some say they are a way for zebras to identify one another.  there is no real consensus.  basically, the stripes serve no apparent purpose but seem to happily exist anyway.

exactly like this blog.
